Campden was first produced by Old Hall in the late1950s and continued in production until about 1985, after the Company was acquired by Oneida. It remains one of Robert Welch's most sought after ranges and was accompanied by a full range of serving ware and accessories. This range of cutlery was also backstamped Walker and Hall and sold as 'Spring', mainly to the catering trades. It was all made in the same factory, on the same production line. The Old Hall brand was bought by ONEIDA in the early 1980s and the Company continued to produce Campden for a short while, although the very late items were a slightly different length and thickness.
