Wostenholm discontinued cutlery patterns

The factory of George Wostenholm was founded in 1786 and is probably one of the most famous cutlers associated with Sheffield Steel. The original spelling of the family name was Wolstenholme, but legend has it that this was shortened to fit on to the blades of knives more easily. Wostenholm cutlery is highly collected. The company still makes knives, as part of the Egginton Group, but sadly, not cutlery.
