Spear and Jackson can trace its roots back to 1760, in Sheffield, England. The town developed to become the major centre for steel-working in the UK and Spear and Jackson are one of the most respected names associated with the industry. Vintage Spear and Jackson cutlery is still highly sought after, due to its superb quality. In latter years, Spear and Jackson acquired Ashberry and continued to manufacture cutlery under the Ashberry name.
