Norstaal discontinued cutlery patterns

The  production of Norstaal cutlery started in 1947, in Bergen, Norway. At that time the Company was known as Norsk Stalpress. The trade name was changed to Norstaal in 1990. Norstaal’s designs are represented in museums of applied arts and crafts around the world. The clean, contempory lines were admired and were often closely copied by other manufacturers. Norstaal was sold to Stelton in 2007 and modern versions of the various cutlery designs are still produced under the name Stelton Norstaal, although the composition of the steel is now very different.
