Elkington Melody
Elkington Ltd marketed 'Melody' cutlery, manufactured in Sheffield, from 'Firth 18/8' stainless steel. It is exactly the same product as Mappin and Webb Melody and carries the same product registration number: RD891101. It is not known whether Mappin & Webb produced the cutlery for both companies, or the other way round. In any case, they are identical, except for the backstamps.
